Thane, Crimson Rebel
Thane is one of the few that have survived the experiments of House Revanicus. He was a Crimson Hunter that fell prey to the vampiric nobility using the order for specialized candidates for human experiments.
Thane was brought to one of House Revanicus' research facilities and should have never been seen again... however, he would not die so easily. He and his fellow hunters were subjected to blood experiments using profane alchemy and arcane magic. One by one they succumbed to their fate until only Thane remained.
One fateful night Thane unlocked the potential of the magic fused to his body and soul - breaking free from his bonds and wreaked havoc through those damned halls. Through his will alone he siphoned blood from his captors and wielded it as a weapon. Even the infamous Revanicus Bloodknights struggled to fight back against him. The experiments were ultimately a success - House Revanicus had created a new monster.
Thane emerged from the facility having spent most of his vitality - killing anything that got in his way. By the time the rebellion found him, he had mostly lost the use of his limbs. His arms and legs suffered severe atrophy from using his own blood for his newfound power... still, he would not die so easily.
Now, Thane is a commander of The Crimson Rebellion. An extremist that is willing to leave ruin in his wake to free Itheria from its vampiric rulers. His limbs have been replaced by powerful aethertech prosthetics that compliment his magical prowess with inhuman strength.
