Igos, The Deathbringer

The Reaper, The God of Death himself. Clad in dark tattered robes and ancient armor. He weaves the burial coins of legendary individuals throughout his robes. Some say you can hear the clinking of the coins when he approaches you in your final moments.

In hand, his legendary blade ‘Terminus’ is crafted from a branch of The Tree of Life and the guillotine blade that was used for the first execution back when only gods roamed the multiverse.

Legends of those that have risen to the call of death itself have wielded Terminus. A blade that can end any that it strikes, even gods.

Clerics of Igos follow two domains - The Death Domain or Grave Domain.

The path of Death uses death and undeath as a weapon. As long they do not enslave the dead or seek to permanently interrupt the sacred circle of life and death - undeath can be used as a dark weapon. Killing without purpose or a great cause is not the goal of such clerics. It is to bring death to those that avoid it or will bring needless death. As all will find their way to Igos, there is no need for haste as he has time to wait.

The path of The Grave is similar in regards to bringing death to those that avoid it. They also try to guide those to the grave when the time is right. So they will save those that must go on and slay those that no longer belong in the world of the living.

Both paths carry and can create Coins of Igos. Burial coins that are placed upon the eyes of the dead so they will avoid the fate of undeath.
