Crimson General Adakaius
One of the founders of The Crimson Hunters was a half-giant monster slayer, Adakaius Helstrand. Nearly two decades ago he defected from the order in an attempt to slay one of the vampiric High Council.
Ultimately, Lord Silas Revanicus escaped from Adakaius and his loyal hunters - but they showed the people of Itheria that their vampiric masters could bleed. This caused a great schism in The Crimson Hunters, resulting in the formation of The Crimson Rebellion.
Now the rebellion is known as a group of extremists that will sacrifice innocent lives in the name of freedom. Propaganda from The High Council labels their leader as a psychopath will to burn down Itheria - vampires and mortals included.
The truth is that the words of The High Council are exaggerated, but the rebellion does employ extreme tactics to achieve their goals. The reality is that the rebellion fights a losing battle and they are desperate to save everyone they can - by any means necessary.
General Adakaius Helstrand himself is immediately recognizable due to his half-giant stature. He wields his signature blast hammer; a powerful trick weapon that is loaded with alchemical cartridges to propel the hammer forward with explosive force. The battle against a vampire lord cost Adakaius his right forearm and has since been replaced with a high-power battle-ready prosthetic.
Also, his loyal feline companion is never too far away. Evelyn, his armored Revanian dire cat is ready to rip and tear their enemies apart. She has trained for years against the nightmarish horrors that plague Itheria and even assisted in the battle with Lord Revanicus.
