Rat King
Below the crowded streets of Stormwall, something dwells in the dark.
Not only nightmarish eldritch horrors stalk the halls of The Gutter. Monstrosities of all sorts also claim The Gutter as their home. One of these monstrosities is a Rat King.
The origin of a Rat King is mostly a mystery. Did wererats or rat devils mutate from eldritch influence? Did a wizard go to far experimenting on giant rats? It doesn't entirely matter, as these exist and seem to heed no master... in fact, they have a supernatural influence over other rats and rat-like creatures.
They seem to spawn endless dire rats from their nest-like back. With their supernatural influence over these creatures, they can easily overwhelm unprepared adventurers. This isn't even accounting for the sheer size and power of a Rat King can rival a hill giant!
Adventurers, beware The Gutter of Stormwall. Nightmares of all sorts dwell down there.
