Mercedes, Knight of The Perpetual Order
Mercedes, known as 'She Without Mercy'. She is an undead paladin or death knight that serves Saint Maximilliano. Mercedes is one of the most deadly warriors of The Perpetual Order of Absentia.
Tales of Mercedes either depict her as a cruel unforgiving killer or some sort of warrior possessed by an angel of vengeance. Both are correct in that most battles with her end in carnage and with her walking away from dripping in the blood of her enemies. She is without mercy as she cannot hear you plea for forgiveness, beg for your life or cry for mercy.
She willingly sacrificed her hearing to Saint Maximilliano to ascend and serve him as his undying blade. Upon losing her hearing and life, she was placed inside her new signature armour that hides her undead nature. Her emotionless visage and executioners blade would be known in all her tales.

Due to her loss of hearing, she is aided by magic to detect those that would attempt to avoid her gaze. In her sanctum of the cathedral, she has numerous Braziers of Revealing Light to dispel magical illusions that would attempt to deceive her. When she is travelling, she can summon a torch that carries the magical flame of Revealing Light.
