This includes Greater Aether Ray miniature files. It sits on a Gargantuan (101.6mm) base. It comes in 1 pose. It has an alternate armoured version that also includes 2 options for 'Astral Elf - Praetor Corvinus' riders. This also comes with a lore PDF with a 5e Stat block.

This miniature comes with optional presupported files for resin printing. These files come as ready to go STL files or Lychee files if you wish to edit the supports for your custom needs.

The Greater Aether Ray

The Aether Rays are monstrous beasts found across the Astral Sea. The Anteokheia discovered them during their travels in search of their gods. Eventually they learned that their innate psionics could allow them to pair with Aether Rays.

If a psionic pairs with an Aether Ray, they can be an effective duo in combat scenarios almost instantaneously. However, with years of training the pair can act almost as one unit. They can share senses, but also nullify feelings of pain or fear. Even across great distances, even planar divides they can locate one another. Some of the greatest Aether Rays can mimic spells like Planar Shift to return to their rider.

Wild Aether Rays are quite deadly, due to their size and innate psionics - most ships don't stand a chance if they stay to fight. These beasts can pierce a Astral ship hull with one swift strike from their tail. Some even have even torn out the propulsion device or severed the hull of ship, leaving their prey stranded in the dark between stars. The Anteokheia harness their speed and strength to ram into large vessels. They equip them with large pointed helms to pierce the hull of a ship or the flesh of nightmarish aberrations that wander in from The Far Realm. They seem drawn to magical devices - so magical ships in the Astral Sea are quite prone to Aether Ray attacks. Adventurers are recommended to run and hope their vessel is fast enough to get away.
