The Weiss War Golem

The Weiss War Golem is a early design from the noble Itherian hero Aldrick Van Weiss.

His home of Whitehaven in the frigid North of Itheria had faced threats that put everyone there in peril. During his exile, his father had delved deep into the dark arcane arts and would experiment on townsfollk. Eventually his father became some akin to a lich that assisted Viktor in his vile plans. After defeating his father, Aldrick would build a vanguard to protect his people.

The Weiss War Golems are a variation on common Iron Golems, but they are reinforced with adamantine framing making them much heavier and harder to kill. Visually they are a variation of Itherian and Barotharian fashion with filigrees and emblems built into the design.

They are designed to charge towards their targets with their lance arm fitting within the massive shield with the Weiss family emblem built into it.

During the great battles against an ancient two headed dragon known as 'The Twin Calamities', the Weiss War Golems protected his estate and people from the evil forces of the dragon.
The final battle against The Twin Calamites started with the Weiss War Golems charging through the hordes of monsters that threatened Itheria. They waded through the hordes clearing a way for Aldrick and Valeria to reach the dragon. In a last attempt to impeded their approach The Twin Calamities unleashed a blast of magma towards them. The golems sacrificed themselves to create a barrier to save great heroes from the magma.

To this day, the bodies of these golems still stand encased in cold stone near the death bed of The Twin Calamities.
